As we enter the 7th week of lockdown, (not that we’re keeping count) it feels like things are starting to settle down.
The initial scramble to get everyone working from home is done and most of the little niggles, like internet connectivity issues, have been resolved.
Remote working has its positives – no time spent commuting, fewer interruptions, but of course, there are negatives too such as missing the buzz of the office and losing track of what day it is…
That’s why we wanted to remind you that this Friday (8th May 2020) is a Bank Holiday.
The whole country was poised to come together for mass street parties to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day; instead, people will be celebrating remotely via Zoom or FaceTime, or even following social distancing with neighbours.
So don’t forget to make sure your telephone system is set up correctly ready for Friday. This might mean sending calls to voicemail or diverting calls to an outsourced call answering service.
